WTTA RESPONSIBILITIES: MEMBER CLUBS
1) PROVIDE COURTS & FACILITIES REQUIRED FOR ALL TEAMS PRESENTED FOR PLACEMENT. IN CASES WHERE COURT PROBLEMS EXIST (COURT RESURFACING, SCHEDULE CONFLICTS) IT IS THE CLUB’S RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE ALTERNATIVE COURTS FOR ALL MATCHES TO BE PLAYED AS SCHEDULED.
2) INSURE THAT ALL ROSTER PLAYERS & SUBS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR PLAY, AND ARE PLACED AT THE APPROPRIATE LEVEL.
3) MAINTAIN AN AWARENESS OF THE WTTA RULES
4) PROVIDE A CLUB REPRESENTATIVE TO SERVE ON THE WTTA BOARD
WTTA RESPONSIBILITIES: CLUB REPRESENTATIVE
1) ATTEND WTTA BOARD MEETINGS AS SCHEDULED. SEND A REPLACEMENT REPRESENTATIVE WHEN UNABLE TO ATTEND.
2) READ AND BE AWARE OF WTTA RULES AND REGULATIONS.
3) HELP CLUB INSURE THAT ALL PLAYERS ARE ELIGIBLE AND ARE PLACED AT THE APPROPRIATE LEVEL.
4) SERVE AS A FLIGHT COORDINATOR (IF ASKED) OR AS A MEMBER OF THE ADMIN COMMITTEE (IF ELECTED).
5) BE AVAILABLE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS FROM YOUR CLUB’S PLAYERS CONCERNING WTTA RULES, PLACEMENT ON TEAMS AND SUBLISTS, ETC.
6) SUBMIT AND MAINTAIN ROSTERS AND SUBLISTS FOR YOUR CLUB BY THE DUE DATES SPECIFIED FOR EACH SEASON.
7) PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR YOUR CLUB AS NEEDED BY THE DIRECTOR
8) PERIODICALLY ASSIST THE LEAGUE IN POLLING ALL TEAMS/CAPTAINS FROM YOUR CLUB, OR IN RECORDING VOTES BY ALL TEAMS/CAPTAINS FROM YOUR CLUB ON MAJOR ISSUES.
WTTA RESPONSIBILITIES: FLIGHT COORDINATOR
1) READ AND BE AWARE OF ALL WTTA RULES AND REGULATIONS
2) BE AVAILABLE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS FROM PLAYERS IN YOUR FLIGHT REGARDING MATCH PLAY SITUATIONS AS THEY ARISE
3) MONITOR RAIN MAKEUP SCHEDULING FOR YOUR FLIGHT, AND ASSIST IN SELECTING RAIN MAKEUP DATES AS NEEDED. CHECK EACH WEEK THAT ALL MATCH RESULTS OR RESCHEDULE DATES ARE ENTERED WITHIN 72 HOURS OF THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PLAY.
4) ONCE RAIN RESCHEDULE DATES ARE INPUT, CHECK THAT THEY ARE ALL WITHIN OUR RULES. PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED 21 DAYS FROM THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PLAY, OR 10 DAYS FROM A RAINED-OUT RESCHEDULE DATE, WHICHEVER IS LATER. HOWEVER, ALL MATCHES MUST BE PLAYED AND INPUT NO LATER THAN 2 WEEKS FROM THE LAST SCHEDULED MATCH FOR YOUR FLIGHT. IF ANY MATCHES ARE SCHEDULED OUTSIDE OF THOSE TIME CONSTRAINTS, CONTACT THE CAPTAINS IMMEDIATELY TO RESCHEDULE.
5) RESPOND TO COMPLAINTS AND RULES VIOLATIONS BY FORWARDING INFORMATION FROM ALL PLAYERS INVOLVED TO THE DIRECTOR FOR REVIEW BY THE ADMIN COMMITTEE.
6) MONITOR SCHOOL HOLIDAY RESCHEDULING FOR YOUR FLIGHT, AND ASSIST AS NECESSARY.
